LiveFit Owner and Operator Chris Anderson
Chris has a Master's Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Central Missouri and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified trainer. He has been training in the Kansas City area for over 11 years.
Chris founded Live Fit in March 2011 and has assisted hundreds of clients with a variety of fitness goals. He will make you feel at ease while also challenging you in novel ways to help you achieve your goals as safely and efficiently as possible.
Jessica
Jessica graduated from Kansas State University with a double major. She's a National Academy of Sports Medicine-certified Personal Trainer and a Certified Nutrition Coach.
Jessica will deliver an effective and enjoyable workout that will help her clients achieve their fitness goals while also providing the support they require to live a healthy lifestyle. Her upbeat attitude and fun personality will help you achieve amazing results while also making working out enjoyable.

Tina
Tina has a degree from Oakland University and has been certified for over 25 years by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She also has many other certifications, such as Pilates Reformer and Yoga. Tina is thus one of the most distinctive and versatile trainers in the fitness industry.
Tina enjoys assisting clients in incorporating fitness into their lifestyle, revealing long-term benefits. Her philosophy is based on a simple quote: "Your life does not improve by chance; it improves by change!" Tina will assist you in making that change and will be there for you throughout your fitness journey!
Joni
Joni holds a Bachelor of Science in Wellness from Northwest Missouri State University and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified trainer. She began working in the fitness industry in 2004 and has since trained clients of all ages and fitness levels.
Joni is passionate about injury prevention and rehabilitation, but she can also deliver an intense workout to produce results quickly. Joni was the first trainer at Live Fit when it first opened in 2011, and she now manages and trains at our second location. After meeting Joni, you'll know she can get you the results you want in a safe and efficient manner.
Linda
Linda has worked in healthcare and rehabilitation for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and is certified in hand therapy with a focus on upper body rehabilitation, and is also a NASM Certified Personal Trainer.
Linda brings a distinct focus to personal training based on her experience and education. She can use her knowledge of physiology and body mechanics to help clients improve their overall strength, balance, and fitness in order to achieve personal goals. Linda can modify training sessions to accommodate chronic medical conditions, post-traumatic / injury, and muscle imbalance.
Sarah
Sarah graduated from Creighton University with a bachelor's degree. She is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer, a Pilates Instructor, and a Certified Health and Life Coach.
Sarah's life has always revolved around wellness and fitness. As an avid tennis player, she has competed in two national tournaments and hopes to compete in many more! She makes working out enjoyable and enjoys educating others on the benefits of living an active lifestyle. She became a certified Health and Life coach in 2020 and is passionate about assisting adults and teens in reaching their full potential.
Jeff
Jeff is a personal trainer, nutritionist, and fitness coach who is ISSA certified. He graduated from the University of North Texas with a BS in Rehabilitation and minors in Psychology and Biology. He has been in the fitness industry for over 40 years and has competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting, as well as endurance sports like cycling and triathlon.
Jeff recently retired from the police force after nearly 30 years of service. Jeff maintained close contact with high school students in order to prevent juvenile delinquency and to foster positive relationships between officers and students. He was also involved in helping other officers with personalized fitness programs.
Jeff enjoys assisting others in achieving their fitness and nutrition goals, and he works with people of all ages and fitness levels. He also works with people who have special needs.

Kaitlin
Kaitlin graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's degree. Her interest in sports and fitness began as a child, when she competed in gymnastics and dance. As an adult, her competitive spirit led her to compete in and place in several fitness competitions. In addition to competing throughout her childhood and adulthood, her passion for teaching began at the age of 13 when she began teaching gymnastics and progressed to teaching boot camp classes, bodybuilding posing and stage presence courses, and boot camp classes.
Kaitlin values consistency over perfection and the development of habits for living a healthy lifestyle. She incorporates variety and fun into each workout to meet your specific physical and mental needs.
Darrell
Darrell has a college degree from Rolla University where he played cornerback for the Rolla University football team. Darrell’s workout style resembles that of an athlete so he will treat you like an athlete! Each of us have an inner athlete and Darrell will help bring your inner athlete to the surface. His positivity and motivational way of coaching is a huge key to his clients success, he will push you to your limits all with a smile on his face.
Darrell will provide an amazing working during your personal training session, hold you accountable to healthy nutritional habits, and keep you on track with your cardio homework to ensure you meet your fitness goals.
Darrell also works with many of our young athletes, he helps create a positive relationship with health and wellness for kids of all ages!
Jeff
Jeff is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He graduated from Johnson County Community College and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science.
Jeff is passionate about helping others reach their health and fitness goals. He knows first-hand how difficult it can be to make a change and get outside your comfort zone. Several years ago, Jeff was in a different career and living a sedentary lifestyle. Fed up with being overweight and out of shape, he decided to make a change. He did the couch to 5K program and never looked back!
Today, Jeff wants to share his passion for health and fitness. He lives his life by the quote “Anything is possible” and wants to help anyone of any fitness level feel better and achieve their goals.
Jeff is a 5X Ironman Finisher, 5X Ironman 70.3 Finisher, Team USA Ultra Distance Triathlon Qualifier and has competed in countless multi-sport events all over the country.
Ventura
Ventura has worked in the local non-profit and technology spaces for 16 years and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine certified Personal Trainer. She started working in the fitness industry after going through her own health journey and losing over 100 pounds. Seeing what this did for her health and personal life inspired Ventura to want to help others on their health journeys.
In addition to Strength training, Ventura brings a focus on the power of Pilates and its ability to build strength, flexibility, and overall mobility to bodies of all shapes and sizes. She utilizers her training and her own life experiences to create workouts that are not only tailored to clients bodies and abilities, but also their goals.
Ventura brings a fun and eager attitude to fitness that brings passion and hard work out of every person she works with. Her passion for helping people and her own health journey has given her a grounded and fun approach that brings out the best in everyone she works with.
Katie
Katie is a personal trainer and fitness coach and certified through ACSM, NASM, and ISSA. She also has a B.S. in Exercise Science from Eastern Illinois University.
Katie has been in the fitness industry since 2013 and grew up playing sports her entire life. She has competed in many bodybuilding competitions and achieved professional status with the IFBB in 2018. In addition, she is a certified mindset coach and has a passion for not only sculpting the human body but also showing clients how powerful they are in and out of the gym.
Her approach to health and fitness is all about looking at your life as a whole and taking into consideration stress levels, lifestyle, nutrition and fitness goals to build you a custom plan. Katie enjoys working with clients of all ages and fitness levels and will provide a fun workout, ultimate accountability and positive reinforcement throughout your fitness journey.
Josh
Josh has been in the fitness industry since 2019 and has a B.S. in Exercise Science from Fort Hays State University. He is also a certified Personal Trainer through ACE and Golf certified through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI).
His true passion for fitness began when as a sophomore at Fort Hayes he joined a local gym which propelled him into pursuing a career in Personal Training. Mixed with his strong background and passion for fitness Josh is an avid golfer and you may see him on the courses in the KC area if he is not at the gym.
Josh has worked with clients of all ages and fitness levels and certainly has a passion for helping your strength and flexibility to improve your golf game. He also works with clients with injuries and health deviations including Diabetes and Parkinson's. As your trainer Josh will make sure you have a fun, motivating, positive workout every time as he builds a custom plan for you!
